Triveni Ghat, one of the beautiful ghats of river Ganga in Hrishikesh. The place is so beautiful and pious that I fall in love with the place time and again. Don’t know whether it’s this time of the year which called for so much seclusion to the place or it is always like that. Despite being a tourist place it has some kind of peace and solitude that attracted me. But one thing that really broke my heart was to see how we human pollute such a beautiful place in the name of our so called devotion. This picture has a sample of the kind of dirt we dump into such a pious river. When Climate Change Conference happened just a few days back in Copenhagen to prevent our environment from degradation should we also not make effort to save the Ganges from getting dirty.
